Well for now I'm considering this as the least feature I'd ever need 
so the priority is pretty low - but of course if someone has
free time and want to spend some time on implementation of 
videorender for aalib - I would have no problem to include this patch
to the main source tree.

Otherwice you will have to wait...

Well I'm doing avifile for my needs - if someone want to use player
of telnet console - he may either step into avifile project or may
have use other players e.g. xine, mplayer,...  which ever is more
comfortable for him :-)

Well I'm using avifile to watch movies - not to impress myself with 
ascii art :) and I've more important things for implementation
then this one.
