Avifile is not drawing any blue bars - this is clearly bug in XVideo
extension of your Xserver - laptos are know to contain some weird
graphics chips - if you can you should try to use CVS version of XFree
- otherwice just disable Xv extension and use X11 rendering - slow -
ugly and many other bad things - but at least you will not see blue
borders :)

well last time I've seen this card in action :) the movie has
been splited into three parts and randomly and these parts were
somehow swapped - it was with XFree4.1 - but there were no blue
borders :)
