Hi,
I am struggling to get the avifile and avifile-qt packages running on my
RedHat-7.2 linux, but I always get: undefined symbol:
XF86VidModeGetAllModeLines when running aviplay. Every other binaries I've
tried have core dumped and source compiling always complained about the same
symbols being missing...
I have XFree-4.1 and also installed the xshared libraries rpm, I found the
needed symbol both on static and dynamic libraries on /usr/X11R6/lib which is
on my /etc/ld.so.conf and properly ldconfig'ed.
I've run out of solutions, do you have a hint?
PS: I have not forced any rpm dependency whatsoever, I have even honoured the
libESD dependency - kinda weird since ESD is the Enlightnment sound daemon
and the frontend if for qt (KDE) but whatthehell
