Well it would be like guessing from crystal sphere - to get you advice
about this particular problem - you would have to send at least a log of
this - also there are few more problems - we do not really support
solaris so far - because simply we do not have such machine available
for development - of course the whole code is mostly clean for this system,
but we would need some person who works with them daily to fix remaining
problems.
You are probably not the right person for this - so you may try other
unix player which should be multiplatform - mplayer, xine...
