I affraid you don't know about internal TCP handling and memory transfers
inside your PC too much :)
I guess aviplay gives you the best playback you could get - the Net solution
isn't really an option - unless you would also rescale image into smaler
resolution - I think the most easiest solution is to buy good graphics card
with YUV hw support or upgrade your CPU if it's still too slow
(but I guess if you will dissable buffering and will use direct mode
you should get very nicely viewable movies with 400MHz processor)
- it's definitely the most effecient solution and I think even the most
cheap one.
