-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I believe that it is a directory on some RedHat systems... the actual capture devices are in /dev/video0.... you could do a "mv /dev/video /dev/video-devs" and then "ln -s /dev/video0 /dev/video" and that might fix the problem for you.
