Mandrake 8.2 installed 2 days ago.
Found it. Two errors in ./configure. If you do not set the value of sdl
prefix then the ./configure tries to look for sdl-config in /bin/sdl-config
but it is in /usr/bin/. configure should use whereis to find sdl-config or
just try to run it in the path, not the way it does it now.
The second bug is that configure fails to get info from sdl-config but it
still continues to configure. It should die with an error to let the user
know that sdl-config had a problem.
These, among hundreds of other reason is why configure sux!
I hate configure.
