I don't think so.  I get the lines:

...
Using DirectShow codec: wmv8ds32.ax
...
Loaded DLL driver divxa32.acm
...

in the output from aviplay.

That differed from the DLL of the same name that I was using, but it
still segfaulted on the example movie I mentioned.

Should I try a different "divxa32.acm", too?  The version that I've
got installed on my Linux partition is a bit older than what I've
apparantly put on my Windows drive since.

It works for me most of the time.

Which codec would you suggest for recording?  I can't do DivX with the
highest quality in realtime, and unencoded (or even HuffYUV encoded)
video is a bit too much data for my system.
