hello, i am searching for a way to decode Windows Media Audio (DivX ;-) audio) on a macintosh running OS X. now, im not going to ask you for how to do that (ha) but if you could help me out with some information i would really appreciate it.
first of all, which file or files in the binary of codecs from your site are used for decoding WMA audio? the names are rather cryptic, and divx.ctc.cc, the site referred to in your 'whats in the binary' page doesnt seem to exist anymore. i can't offer to port your tool to the macintosh, the task would be way over my head. i would like to get the dll-loading program (along with necessary components) running and interfacing with the WMA DivX audio codec, and then send that to LAME or SDL. this is my idea anyway. the libwin32 could be reworked to run on a PPC processor with enough efforet, but i don't know much about DLL's. would they just *not run* except on an x86, or is there some possibility? thank you for your time and help, i have had a rough time finding anything out about WMA audio on linux john _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
