DivX should be easily managed by ffmpeg codec 

As all Mac users (actually I've seen just two :) decided to help mplayer
developers I would probably susggest to use mplayer - but you would be always
welcomed if you would like to help to port avifile to Mac 
for this moment I don't have time nor equipement for such task...

WMA will be problem - there are certain plans to make an ffmpeg decoder
for this but it will be not easy to 'crack' this format

For i386 boxes  you could use divxa32.acm  I think.

Well if you will find an enough crazy developer to write such i386 emulator
which would be able to work this way it would be possible - 

but I'm 100% sure it would much easier to debug win32 acm driver in this case :)

It'll take you a month of hard work - but writting this
instruction emulator would be really chalanging task :)
