So far I've never seen rgb based jpegs - but those output formats:
444 422 and 420 are now supported - and according to my tests
mplayer seems to swap U & V planes or it has improper rendering of
some interlaced files (though I must admit that sync handling of these
files is quite tricky in avifile, because of some original design problems
and because I try to preserve full backward compatibility for now)

It's for encoding - nothing for playing - the biggest mistake
was that it's been opening VKI codec instead of divx3.11
so the values were set from different registry locations
(which are moreover avifile's internal extension anyway)
