i have 2 problems i have slow machine and kernel 2.4.19rc1-ac3-aio avifile starts with fifo scheduling, which is unacceptable, coz artsd starts with fifo priority too, and windowmanager and X is on sched.other.
if i manually change aviplay priority to sched.other it quite works (altrough it desyncs quite often, but i think it is issue of finetuning the priorities) i see there are 4 aviplay threads. it would be a good thing if aviplay could start @ sched.other by default. and now second problem : when i press 'exit' (x button) it happens quite often that aviplay hangs _whole_ system. there is no notice @ /var/log/messages what happens, and even keyboard is unresponsive. any ideas what can cause this? it is one and only app which is able to freeze my system (!) _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
