I downloaded the files assembled by mozzy - avifile-0.7.16-12.i386.rpm, etc. but when I try to play some files generated by dvgrab, it complains about WARNING: stream header has incorrect dwLength (183640 != 91820) and then segfaults. See log below.
Can anyone shed some light on what's happening. The files played fine with an earlier version of aviplay, and xine will play the files. $ aviplay pic001.avi <init> : Avifile CVS-0.7.17-021022-08:31-3.2 <init> : Available CPU flags: fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm <init> : 1793.37 MHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.80GHz processor detected <aviplay> : Debug is on 0 <reader> : checking: pic001.avi <AVI reader> : MainHeader: MicroSecPerFrame=33366 MaxBytesPerSec=4147200 PaddingGranularity=0 Flags=[ HAS_INDEX TRUST_CKTYPE ] TotalFrames=43 InitialFrames=0 Streams=2 SuggestedBufferSize=120008 WxH=720x480 Scale=33366 Rate=1000000 Start=0 Length=43 <AVI reader> : StreamHeader: Type=vids Handler=dvsd Flags=[ ] InitialFrames=0 Scale=33366 Rate=1000000 Start=0 Length=43 SuggestedBufferSize=0 Quality=-1 SampleSize=0 Rect l,r,t,b=0,0,0,0 <AVI reader> : StreamHeader: Type=auds Handler=0x0 Flags=[ ] InitialFrames=0 Scale=1 Rate=32000 Start=0 Length=183640 SuggestedBufferSize=0 Quality=-1 SampleSize=2 Rect l,r,t,b=0,0,0,0 <AVI reader> : Reconstructing index from offset: 64836 <AVI reader> : Stream 0 vids : dvsd (0x64737664) 43 chunks (0.17KB) <AVI reader> : WARNING: stream header has incorrect dwLength (183640 != 91820) <AVI reader> : Stream 1 auds : PCM (0x1) 43 chunks (0.34KB) <StreamCache> : Creating cache for file descriptor: 7 <reader> : Initialized audio stream (chunk tblsz: 183640, fmtsz: 18) <reader> : Initialized video stream (chunk tblsz: 43, fmtsz: 40) <LDT keeper> : Installed fs segment: 0x40029000 <codec keeper> : Found 11 plugins (/usr/lib/avifile0.7,A:22,V:71) <codec keeper> : FFMPEG DV video decoder created zsh: 4208 segmentation fault aviplay pic001.avi _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
