Maybe because you have NEVER ever bothered to read the output of aviplay ??
If you don't have SBLive and AC3 DD decoder connected to the digital
out you will have to use AC3 decoder - so you will have to switch
order of codecs - ffmpeg ac3 decoder will have to be placed ahead
of ac3 passthrough codecs in GUI
