[Avifile]need some help

Hi there!

I tried to install avifile (avifile-0.7.29-20030204.tgz) after downloading it just as it says in the README:

cd ~/avifile

gunzip avifile-0.7.29-20030204.tgz

tar xvf avifile-0.7.29-20030204.tar

cd avifile0.7-0.7.29

./configure

make

su

ROOT-PASSWORD

make install

aviplay

Everything seemed to work fine until I tried to start the program. After typing 'aviplay' I just get:

bash: aviplay: command not found

I tried to find aviplay or something similar on my system but couldn't find anything. Is there something wrong with the install skript or did I make any mistakes?
I looked through the faqs but my problem wasn't there. I hope you can help me on this!
