Take a look at the MJPEG (MJPEGTOOLS) site http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/.
Program "jpeg2yuv" will take a sequence of .jpg files and output a .yuv data stream which you pipe into "yuv2avi" to build a .avi file. I do not know if it decompresses the JPG data to build the YUV color space data stream. Good luck! ...
