Compiling Avogadro. Scientific Linux had too many issues to deal with so I
installed Ubuntu, dl'd latest CMake & Qt. In an identical (version-wise)
install of Ubuntu, Qt and Avogadro on my laptop, I have both avogadro and my
prototype plugin working, which is why I emailed the list, system specific
problems are a bit beyond me.
Sorry, I don't understand your postscript, could you please inform me of its
meaning?

I think you need to add some Qt packages. I don't know which packages ...
Just a question, what are you compiling ? Avogadro, or a plugin for Avogadro
?

Hi,
I would like to use the Avogadro plugin path in /home/[user]/.avogadro/ .
But I do not find them. They do not create by default (except for the
python plugins). I currently realize my test in /user/local/lib/avogadro.
What are the paths for each plugin ?
I also notice that each plugin path are not mentioned in the debug mode in
the launch of Avogadro :
