No, that domain was never set up to serve over https, kitware.com
hosts https and is the default https fallback on the host. There is no
compromise, and like I said the hosting has moved around some since
then.

Like I said there is an updated URL we can use that will serve over
https, I know these machines, and can vouch for them.
