I was about to say this, the POV-Ray export effectively gives you a
"vector representation" of sorts - cylinders and spheres are implicit
in ray tracers, not tessellated. You can render at any resolution, and
so should be able to push that up, save the POV-Ray file and you can
tweak it afterwards - it may take a while to render, but it should
work.
