Hi,

I would like to create a toolchain that duplicates the recent winavr release. The winavr user manual says that avr-libc is version 1.6.7cvs. I don't see a corresponding tag in the repository. How can I know I'm building from the same source?

My goal is to create a Linux toolchain that matches winavr. We have developers on both Linux and Windows host platforms. It's highly desirable that the two toolchains match, in particular binutils, gcc, and avr-libc. Duplicating binutils and gcc shouldn't be a problem. It's only libc that's an issue. WRT the other tools, differences there are not as important, as they don't affect the final output.

BTW, what happened to the winavr bug tracker?

thanks,
galen
