Document it. ;-) Both, avrdude.1 and doc/avrdude.texi should
be updated.
Otherwise, at a quick glance, it looks fine to me. Please
also indicate one (or more) URLs of example programmers
that could be used with this patch. I've got a generic
FT2232 board around, and would like to give it a try.
