It normally should be just autoloaded and displayed in an automatic
way
(if you didin't set the loader autoloaded to false like that:
your Loader = Max3DS.load(string,...,autoLoadTextures:false});)

is your object absolutly black,not displayed or does it use a
wireframe material to display the missing texture ???
is your texture a simple bitmap in the 3ds scene or does it have
transparency, refelections, etc...

You can send your 3Ds file if you want (or the folder with the file
and textures, it's better...)
to my mail adress.
