Hey Jeff would be interested to hear more about your approaches - dictionaries aren't that much of a speed problem for us at the moment, but the object marshalling they cause can be, so we are currently looking at ways to counter that. You may want to check the recent 2.3.6 upload to the trunk svn which has some of those optimisations implemented, and we are currently working on more.
as Peter said, it is entirely up to you whether you would like to contribute to the Away3d project. We are always open to new ideas, as long as we can keep compatibility as close as possible to older releases, so that any upgrades require minimal re-coding from the developers side. atb Rob On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 10:09 PM, Peter Kapelyan <[email protected]>wrote: > Ok I'll be the second or third to say it :) > > I would REALLY love if the Flash 9 version was even 10% faster :) > > I am REALLY interested in the speed increases you get, please keep us > posted on your progress!
