i really dont think that u needed to change something in the Flint, i had that problem before but was due to the fact i was using a flash compiler 10, with the old branch, so i changed to the trunk in 10, that is the one that contains matrixaway3d, maybe flint dint have em, is that what u refer? but anyways, how r u trying to put em on screen? some code will be helpful.
