Blender, as well as 3dsMax, Maya, and many other common 3d modeling tools can accomplish the scenes you referenced in your other post, but as mentioned, those scenes are quite professionally mastered, I could not hope to accomplish that myself without many years of training in the 3d rendering tools (but then again, I'm a programmer, not an artist, so I won't speak to your situation).
Blender makes importing to away3D easy, you should probably focus on exporting the Collada format from Blender, follow the tutorial I mentioned previously and you'll have a Collada format model imported and working in Away3D in no time at all. The tutorial walks you through the entire process and provides you a good solid code base to work from. All you need to do in Blender is File->Export->Collada 1.4. http://www.bukisa.com/articles/47520_away3d-programming-tutorials-getting-st arted Dave -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of bluekhille Sent: Thursday, July 23, 2009 5:46 PM To: away3d.dev Subject: [away3d] Re: beginner sir david can u teach me how to export objects from blender to away3d? and sir is it possible to do the same in the link posted above in blender?
