Hey Rogerio you can distort the image by squashing the sphere using the scaleX, scaleY and scaleZ properties - no camera mods should be needed.
If you want to squash the whole view you can do that easily by placing the view sprite inside a container that you apply the usual scaleX, scaleY properties. It may work on the view sprite itself, but not having tried it i'm not 100% sure - the container is a safer option :) atb Rob On Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 1:42 AM, RogerioBR <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > > I just started to develop with the away3d and it is going pretty well, > however I have a couple of questions and before ask them here i made a > longe reserarch, but as i didn't find the information I'm calling for > help :-) > > I created a sphere with a movie material, positioned a hovercamera3d > to the angle I need, but I need to play with camera lenses angles (and > i can't find many info about that) to "distort" the image, in a way it > would looks more like a ellipse, just a little bit not much, does > anyone did that or know how do it? > > Also is there a way to project a shadow on that sphere with the > movieclip material to give more depth perception?
