Thanks for the quick responses.

I'm using Flash CS4, away3d version 3.3. I used Flex Builder for a
while but keep on getting an error about the bin-debug/...html folder
not being found there and again despite numerous changes from every
source I could find nothing worked. It's the 60 day trial, which is
about to run out soon.

This code is an attempt to convert a simple torusdemo example.  All I
am trying to do for now is get my 3d model to be viewable with
something like a HoverCamera, nothing too complicated.

I will try the bukisa code later to see if I can get that going.

I also see someone mentions importing a .obj model from the library,
is this an advisable option for a simple viewing?
