delfeld, you should make a test to see what i'm talking about. make a fla with a movieclip that contains named movieclips inside, and then link it to a class you have. now export the swc it to fd. instantiate the movieclip and try to acces the inside movieclips....you can't. now if you link the movieclip to "WhateverClass" (that doesn't exist) that extends your complex class, you can now access the movieclips inside and all the methods of your class. strange ... :(
