Thanks for your replies! The animation is 3d-models that will be matched to a video, so it needs to be a perfect import to get to look smooth. I have been able to get pretty close by using the collada parser, and then inverted some axis of rotation on some (!?) objects and adjusting the animation frame by frame with rotation offsets.
It's an ugly solution though, and it would be sweet to be able do these kind of project with a smooth pipeline. /David
