Hi!
I just released my first project with Away3d. We had 3 weeks for
production and I'm pleased with the engine in this tight schedule! Big
ups to the founders and to you guys at this forum. The game is quite
simple and small, though the intro looks promising ;). The idea is to
make a parody of first person shooters by making a first person
"pointer". I know, it's to bad that you can't move around, but the
mouse control in flash 3d is not suited for fps in my opinion. To
click and drag to look around, as you see in most cases, was not an
option here. I wait for the native support of velocity of mouse
movement outside the stage or beyond the edge of the screen in
fullscreen mode. Probably it will never happen though.

I made some dirty workaround for resizing (and moving around) the view
to a smaller area than the stage. Check out the settings in gameplay-
mode and you'll see. MovieClipSprites and clipping was a headake, as
seen in previous post. But I think that every project has it's unique
needs and features. Nesting of different objects and sorting-
solutions...

Best of all was the 3ds parser and Loader3d. So simple to setup the
environment in 3d studio max and "just" add a camera.

Oh, and the Sound3d class was helpful. Play with headphones :)
