In my app, I need to be able to invert a cube (or, more general, a primitive). A demo can be found here:
Demo http://www.iemar.tuwien.ac.at/processviz/away3d/insights/invertablecube/InvertableCube6.swf Source http://www.iemar.tuwien.ac.at/processviz/away3d/insights/invertablecube/InvertableCube6.as.txt Implementation has shown how easy it would be to include this "invertable geometry" into away3dlite (not just for Cube6, but directly for AbstractPrimitive*) - one just needs to swap two indices per face in buildPrimitive, and then build the mesh as usual. The question now is: do others need this functionality ? I would certainly love to see this feature, even though I acknowledge that is is seldom the "standard case". As example, one might build a sky dome by inverting a sphere, etc.; what do you think, would this be usefull ? cheers, Gabriel. -- * I must confess, I didn't look into away3d standard to see if this functionality is available there.
