Sounds interesting, a little hacky because I would have to find the proper faces and link them accordingly. But it can still work. I just tried it out and it seems like there is an issue with the models being scaled and then attaching faces. Basically, the faces are attached at the "pre-scale" locations.
The fix: Add everything to a container, do the facelink, scale the container. I have a feeling that this is very error prone. Is there another option? What about a collada scene? In that case, I could hide the meshes that I don't want. Is it easy to get an animated collada into away3d? Or is the facelink approach better? thanks, David On Feb 12, 10:36 am, Peter Kapelyan <[email protected]> wrote: > Check out FaceLink, it could be what you need: > > http://www.closier.nl/blog/?p=85 > > -Pete > > On Fri, Feb 12, 2010 at 12:34 PM, david_m <[email protected]>wrote: > > > > > Hi, I am sure this has been answered before.
