Away has 2 engines for F10. Lite and regular. AwayLite is faster and can handle more polys. This comes at a price: less features.

Away loads 3ds and collada from max. There are known issues with latest max collada exports tho.

As about which engine is better:
Working on this engine for the past 3 years, my opinion would be coloured. And I will for this reason not start argue on the diffs. Just ask our users, especially the many previous PV users what they think..

But you could ask yourself if it is wize to invest time in a technology that is no longer being developped.

hello,
Am new to away3D. Till now am using papaervison3D , and now i came to
know that away3D is beetr in performance. But after looking into
away3D am little bit confused.

There were different versions to download . Which one is feasible and
stable?

Most of my flash 3D is based on the models form 3DSMAX. I can't find
anything usefull to use external models in away3D.

And finally which one is better papaervision3D or away3D.

Please help me to find some answer or some usefull links..

regards
