So I have had a little bit of trouble with the Sprite3D objects in Lite. Specifically ObjectContainer3D.addSprite and removeSprite consistently throw errors when called after rendering begins. I have fixed up my local version, and filed an issue here with a patch and more detailed description: http://code.google.com/p/away3d/issues/detail?id=116
If someone could verify that this is indeed a bug and not just my misunderstanding or blatant abuse of the API it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, -Ken
