Hi Guys, I would like to apply a Flash GlowFilter to an object with a material that as an alpha inferior to 1. The problem is when the material is not completely opaque the glow shows on the entire surface of the object instead of just the inner edges as it does with an material alpha of 1. Also I wold like to have the glow be fully opaque independently of the materials alpha. I guess i could clone the object and apply the glow to the clone with the knockout set to true but i think that would double my polygon count and slow down my app, also the objects are ObjectContainer which glows when the mouse hovers over them so it as to be quick.
Anybody knows how to solve my glow issues or a work around that wouldn't affect performance? Thanks
