I had considered it at one point, the issue is that I actually want to show
the logos on the ball spinning through the air.  I'm actually applying a
random rotation force to the ball everytime it is thrown.  It may not be
that obvious now because of the basic texture, but I think its a cool
feature of the 3D that I'd rather keep for when I get the ball customization
working.
