Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to specify UV mapping across an extruded surface? I'm using Maya. Basically I used Mesh > Create Polygon Tool to generate the cross-section of an object, then I used Edit Mesh > Extrude to give it some volume. However, if I open it up with Edit UVs > UV Texture Editor, like I'm used to, it only lets me select a UV for the cross section, which results in the extruded section having a big blob of the same color.

Anyone know how I can adjust a map of the other angles, or do I need to convert the object somehow?
