Dunno about Maya, but in case its useful to you, you could import your model in Away, and use the Projector class. It will map it for you. or drop it in Prefab, and use the uvmapper. and if its an extrude that can be generated with Away or Prefab, mapping comes free of charge in few tastes. :)
