Hi,

I'm working on an actionscript 3 project that will contain some
interactive 3d objects, mostly from contracted freelancers. Some of
the objects will only contain an animation (played on some mouse
interaction like click/over/wheel) but others must have several
animations (ex: unwrapping a gift, then opening; a pet that reacts in
different ways to more then one type of interaction: mouse over it's
like petting, mouse click it's like tickelling).
I read that Away3D can currently import animation in Collada (DAE) and
MD2 formats (only bone animation for collada). I am not a 3D artist
and have barely started working with 3D Studio Max but i consider
myself a good AS3 developer. I'd like to make some templates for the
freelancers so i can easily work on the content they provide and add
the interaction.
What will be the best approach on this (on the 3d part): witch format
should i use, witch 3d app will give the best content (easily adapted
to my needs) or maybe give me a larger range of freelancers that could
do this?

Thansk in advance,

Ion Tabirca
