Hey everyone,

I'm having some trouble configuring a UV map across an extruded surface ... I thought someone here might be able to help, because I feel pretty stuck :)

I used a vertex tool to create a face that's the shape I need, then I extruded the face to give it some depth. Now when I go to modify the UV map, it lets me adjust the UV map for the face I created, but I can't figure out a way to customize a map for the third dimension of the object ... the faces which were created when I extruded my 2D face.

I'm using Maya right now. Everything went great up to this point ... I really need to be able to customize the UV mapping for the extruded portion of the object, because that (incidentally) is the most important part. I'm creating an easy chair. The silhouette is a bit complex, so I created it using a vertex tool, to customize it to match the shape of the chair. I then extruded to give the chair some width. If I can't map that portion of the texture, then the whole seat and back of the chair won't look right. The side will look perfect, of course, but most of that is covered by the arm of the chair, anyway.

Thank you for your help! In advance!
