Have you tried making your textures powers of 2?  (128, 256, 512,
etc.)   3D Engines like Away3D and Papervision prefer powers of two.
If that doesn't work, my other big question would be why are you using
Away3D at all for that app?   Unless you plan to have more than just a
static image of a room with swappable static images of floors?
Otherwise you'd be able to do that much easier in regular 2D Flash
with layers.
