Hi, I don't speak English very well, i hope my post will be
understandable.

I have a problem about RAM in the stat window.
I created a simple scene with :
- 2 Meshes (import from 3dsmax with AS3GeomClassExporter),
- 2 BitmapMaterials (1 for each of them)

The fact is that the JPG i use for the bitmapmaterials are big
(2048*2048) :

http://boulkick.free.fr/away3d/textures/zone1x1zsol1HD.jpg
(I know it's not useful, i use that as an example)

The swf are here :
Without bitmapMaterials : http://boulkick.free.fr/away3d/3.php
With bitmapMaterials : http://boulkick.free.fr/away3d/1.php

The results for RAM in the stat window :
Without bitmapmaterials :
Firefox 3.6.8 : 8.2 MB
Chrome : 8.2 MB
without browser : 7.3 MB
IE 8: 6.3 MB

With bitmapmaterials :
Firefox 3.6.8 : 57.3 ~ 73.3 MB
Chrome : 57.3 MB
without browser : 8.3 MB
IE 8 : 6.5 MB

I don't understand why the difference in RAM is so big. 6MB in IE, 73
MB in Firefox, it's an enormous difference... (I don't care about FPS
because it's not real-time, i just render the scene when clicking the
buttons on the left)

I tried to remove PerspectiveLens, CORRECT_Z_ORDER or FrustrumClipping
but nothing changes.
Is there an explanation of it ?

Thanks
