I have a skull model that was scanned with a Nextengine 3d scanner. using Maya I have optimized the model and baked all the textures into one UV map. the model and maps look fine in any 3d application. I am getting the results that you see here when I am displaying in the away3d engine. http://lidc-imagelib.lidc.sfu.ca:16080/XRAID/Stevo/away3dproblem/ The seams are very strange and pronounced. It could be a very simple fix (i hope) but I cannot seem to figure this out on my own.
