Hi Away3D team, I am no BSP level expert, so the experts may forgive me my first question. :-)
Is it possible to have windows in the bsp modelled level? A window like a window in the wall of a house? As I unterstood when reading http://www.derschmale.com/2010/04/22/bsppvs-released-in-away-3-5-0/ it is not. But I remember DOOM II there were levels where you could walk out and see the skykox? How was this done? Was the outer terrain part of the BSP level? And my second question: I stuck into modelling a very simple level with 3ds max, generate the bsp awd-file with prefab and not getting it to work. I always fall through the level when running in away3d. I appreciated reading the tutorial of John Wilson http://john-wilson.110mb.com/bsp_tutorial/bsp_tutorial_blender.html which helped me much but he is using blender and focused on the steps after blender. Has someone an idea where to find a tutorial or example level for 3ds max which works with prefab? I think it can only something very little wrong with my level design (is snapped to grid and closed overall). Thanks Volker
