No, the learning curve was much higher for AIR/Flex as C++ is what I was
writing in before.  I simply wanted a more modern, higher level, and
portable language as well as one better suited to a web world.  It had to be
great for writing rich clients, very product, and capable of good
performance.

I haven't been disappointed.
