I've tried adding a light to a material after it was created;
myMat.lights = [_light2];
but never managed to get the light to render. It keeps the same
lighting as when the
material was first created. I was hoping to use it to "highlight" a
selected object, turning the light on and off.
I never got it to work and found another solution, but maybe you're
experiencing something similar?
i.e. if you assign the light to the material, after you assigned the
material to the obejct, no show.
