FS#399 - Some dialog boxes don't completely go way after being closed (Save
Under flag issue)

I spent some more time looking into this bug, but it's also unclear to me
what's going on.
- Are you (or is anyone else) able to reproduce this problem? I use xpdf as my
test,
and it's pretty easy to trigger the bug. Basically, hit 'o' for the Open File
dialog, move the dialog with the mouse, and then close it. Maybe you have to
try
it a couple of times, but it's happens with regularity.
- Also, the patch I sent was right out of awesome2. I didn't realize that it
broke
focus stealing, but it does seem that the current branch of awesome2 has this
behavior/code.
- I did manage to track things down to client_unban:xcb_map_window(...). If
you put
the code in my patch above before that line, no bug. After that line, bug
exists.
- I'm also beginning to think that this is some bizarre behavior of these motif
apps,
and I'm not even sure how it's related to the Save Under hint (thought the
correlation
does exist). I actually disabled Save Under support in the X server (-su
flag), but
the bug still happens...so I'm not sure. [Actually, Xorg changelogs seem to
indicate
that Save Unders support is completely disappearing in the Xorg
1.6.]...Nevertheless,
I don't see the bug with other WMs.
I'm happy to try other tests/experiments if there are suggestions. For me,
it's really
only xpdf, and there are plenty of alternatives if the patch doesn't go in (or
we can't
modify it to not break focus stealing).
