Is there a way we could just add size hint awareness to my variable layout? What I understand is that your adaptable layout doesn't consider variable height (except hinting) so the math is going to be the big difference when it comes to moving to a variable height. What I am saying is that starting from yours means re-coding the math, starting from what I have means adding hinting awareness?
