I wait for Maxime to confirm, but in this case there's no need to let
adaptile into your patch.
I just plan to merge vile (with adaptile code inside) and then remove
'tile' and make 'vile' default, since 'tile' will be useless.

I did.
You "forgot" apdatile.lua in your patch. But as I said, there's no point
adding it.

I got the same error:
W: awesome: luaA_dofunction:317: error running function:
...r/local/share/awesome/lib/awful/layout/suit/vile.lua:46: attempt to

Which happens where is no client at all.

I think there's a little problem with mouse. The pointer is warped
vertically but not horizontally:

The mouse is warped at 'x' when running the mouse resizing code in
window 2. That was ok to resize only the vertical axis, but now that we
resize the vertical one, it should probably be warped in the corner of
1/2/3 on my draw.

There's a huge bug when nmaster != 1 on multiple screen, but I'm not
sure it's related to vile for now.
