What do you mean with "really awful flickering when redrawing windows"? How do you make those windows redraw themselves?
I was imprecise, sorry. Flickering takes place when changing focus, now that I came to think about it again. For example, when new window is opened or closed. Or when I switch between windows. I think I did see something in awesome defore, but can't really remember what and when...
